The Power of Morning Practice

Your morning practice doesn’t need to be perfect; it just needs to be yours.

Whether it’s a few moments of stillness, a stretch, a dance to your favorite song, or a journal spill, how you begin matters.

This isn’t just a tool. It’s a lifestyle technique—one that rewires how you relate to the world, your energy, and most importantly, yourself.

It’s the moment you arrive into your day and say:

💛 I choose to be connected.
💛 I set the tone for my life today.

A consistent morning ritual clears the energetic slate, creating space for clarity, confidence, and creativity to emerge.

This transformation begins within (not in waiting for the world/people/situations to change around you).

Thrival Kit Practice: Clear the Channel

This month’s practice is all about releasing what’s stuck, moving what’s ready, and creating space for what’s true.

Step 1: Write it Out

  • Set a timer for 5–10 minutes.

  • Let your pen move without judgment.

  • Write everything in your heart, everything in your head. Messy. Raw. Honest. Unfiltered. This is just for you.

Step 2: Shake it Out

  • Put on a song with a beat… we are digging this one.

  • Shake your body for 3 minutes: arms, hips, spine, legs, and jaw.

  • Let your nervous system discharge. Let your cells wake up. Let your spirit rise.

  • When the music and your shaking stops, come into stillness and just feel.  Feel your body and the energy that you created.  Take some long, slow, deep breaths in and out of your nose.

I am a certified dance instructor, a certified Somatic Centered Transformation Life Mentor/Coach and a certified Breathwork instructor. I enjoy blending all of these together and through science and your own inner wisdom, invite people to get curious, move energy, to dissolve old patterns and beliefs and to live life in joy, presence, authenticity and as an empowered creator.
