Recipe: Raw Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

RAW CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH

One of our earliest memories is the three of us climbing atop chairs to reach the counter to help our mom make cookies. We definitely snuck some dough when mom wasn't looking and that experience often ended in a tummy ache! This is our version, reminiscent of that experience, but much easier on the belly.

No baking needed!

This is meant to be eaten raw with your fingers or with a spoon.

Serves: 4-6 | Prep time: 10 mins | Wait time: 20 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw tahini

  • 1⁄2 cup raw honey, that is not solid, but more of an agave nectar consistency

  • 3 Tablespoons coconut oil, melted to olive oil consistency

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4cup carob or cacao chips

How to:

1. In a food processor, mix all ingredients except chips.

2. Empty into a separate bowl and stir in cacao or carob chips.

3. Refrigerate for at least 20 min.

4. Enjoy on its own with a spoon or as a spread on fruit.

5. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Enjoy!
