Nourish Recipe: Pear-Applesauce
Pear-Applesauce
This recipe is a favorite as a side for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is also a treat in school lunches. For a sweeter version, you can add raw local honey when blending. To increase the fiber value of this recipe even further, I sometimes keep some of the raw apple skins and add them to the blender when we add all of the other ingredients. It fully incorporates and creates a nice consistency.
Enjoy the flavors and scents of fall!
